Artistic Concept: „Freedom in the Light“
Psalm 18.30 – „With my God, I can leap over walls“
Description of the artwork (Claudio Pirisi & Raphaella Mezzaluna)
A person is taking off. With determined movement, they jump over a colorful, angular wall. This wall represents the obstacles in our lives: fear, doubt, societal limitations, or internal blockages. The jump over it symbolizes the freedom we gain with God’s help.
In front of them, a light-filled space unfolds, offering vastness and hope. The colors flow, pulsate, and wind upward – like life itself.
A guardian angel with golden wings sits quietly behind the jumper. It stands for protection and trust, for that strength we often cannot see but which carries us.
This modern work translates Psalm 18:30 into a universal visual language. It reminds us that true freedom is often an act of trust: those who leap may fly.
